Spring Hill Seasoning Blend

Our custom-crafted rub, made to bring out the beef — not bury it. Salt, pepper, and a little Tennessee know-how.

Why We Exist

Honest Beef. No Shortcuts. No Middlemen.

Most grocery steak passes through a feedlot, a mega-packer, and a distributor before it reaches you. Ours goes from our pasture, to our facility, to your table — and never leaves our hands.

01 — The Farm

Raised on Tennessee Pasture

Our cattle roam Middle Tennessee pasture and are thoughtfully grain-finished. No growth hormones, no antibiotics, no animal byproducts in the feed. Ever.

vs. crowded industrial feedlots

02 — The Butchery

Cut in Our Own Facility

We harvest and process in our own facility in Lynnville, Tennessee. Our team breaks down every primal, portions every steak, and vacuum-seals it by hand.

vs. mega-factory assembly lines

03 — The Genetics

20 Years of Better Bloodlines

Marbling isn’t luck. We’ve spent two decades building a herd from proven genetics that naturally excel in marbling and flavor — no injections required.

vs. solution-enhanced supermarket beef

“From our family to yours, we’re committed to putting clean, honest food on the table. For us, this business is about feeding our community the right way.” Ben Neale — Founder, Light Hill Meats

The Tasting Experience

You’ll Taste the Difference on the First Bite

1

Aged for Tenderness

Every steak is wet-aged at least 14 days, letting natural enzymes relax the muscle fibers while the beef rests in its own juices. Nothing lost, everything gained.

2

Fat That Melts, Not Sits

Fine, even marbling renders into the meat as it cooks — so every bite is juicy and rich instead of chewy and gray.

3

Steakhouse Results, Zero Guesswork

Thick, even portions sear evenly and hold their temperature. Salt, sear, rest — and you’ve got a restaurant-grade crust at home.

Questions? We’ve Got Answers.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the beef stay frozen in transit?

Every steak is vacuum-sealed and frozen, then packed over dry ice inside an insulated cooler. We ship UPS 1–2 day on Mondays and Tuesdays only, so your box is never stuck in transit over a weekend.

What if my box arrives thawed?

If the beef is thawed but still cool to the touch, it’s perfectly safe — cook it within 7 days or refreeze it. If it’s not cool to the touch, call us right away at (931) 488-4631 and we’ll make it right.

Where are the cattle raised and processed?

On our family farm in Middle Tennessee. Cattle are pasture-raised, grain-finished, and harvested and processed in our own facility in Lynnville, TN — we don’t outsource any of it. Independent third-party audits verify our humane handling.

Are the steaks dry-aged or wet-aged?

All our steaks are wet-aged for a minimum of 14 days. Sealed in their own juices, natural enzymes tenderize the beef without any moisture loss — so you get a juicy, tender steak with a clean, beefy flavor.

How much freezer space will I need?

Not much. Six vacuum-sealed steaks lie flat and stack neatly — roughly the footprint of a shoebox. Frozen at 0°F or below, they’ll keep their best quality for 4–12 months.

How do I thaw the steaks?

In the fridge — most steaks thaw in about a day and stay fresh for 3–5 days after. In a hurry? Put the sealed package under cold running water. Skip the counter and hot water.

Can I pick up locally instead?

Absolutely. Choose local pickup at checkout and we’ll notify you within 24–48 business hours when your box is ready at our Spring Hill, Tennessee butcher shop.

What if I’m not happy with my order?

If you’re not satisfied, neither are we. Let us know within 24 hours of receiving your order and we’ll replace it or make it right with a full refund. 100% guaranteed.
